2 Chanel Stereo amps with sub pre-out

Hi all,

Wondering about running another amp off my AVR pre-outs to improve stereo quality for stereo but need a sub pre-out as the subwoofer is active.

Which companies make decent amps around 1000 english currency that will do this for me ?

I believe CA's 840 (and v2) as well as Arcam's can be seamlessly integrated into HT systems.

It depends which sub you're using.

If you're using a sub that has speaker (high level) inputs, you can run direct from the stereo amp's speaker terminals.

I run my PV1 this way. It's connected to my A/V Receiver via co-ax, but also connected to my Arcam stereo amp via high level connection. (The PV1 comes with a dedicated cable for high level connection, not sure about other manufacturers).
