£800 budget for amp that supports spotify & speakers

Its been a while since ive bought an amp and at present im using an ipod dock via rca into my audiolab

Im looking to upgrade the amp and speakers but im wondering if modern amps have any network facilities built in that are decent? Ideally I want to just pick a track on my phone or laptop and the amp plays it as opposed to having to dock an mp3 device - is this possible?

I wont be using it with a tv but the wifi and features of the Sony STR-DN1050 look good would it sound ok?

The onkyo mentioned above is 3 years old so i have feeling it might not have the support of the latest iphone 6 etc.
