Naim XS. I like to listen to rock, pop, and vocals, some jazz and very little to no classical.

I'm currently using the KEF Ls-50. Would I be expecting an upgrade in sound or I should just save my money.

I'm a CAS'er currently running it with an Audio GD DAC and want to add a CD player to my system via coaxial. Is it ok to use any regular cd player as transport? Or the transport really doesn't have much effect on the final sound quality.

I'll try experiment with positioning but my living room is quite small so I don't have much options with moving the stands around but I'll play around with toe ins to see if that helps. If not then I'll try to get some acoustical panels and play around with that instead.
