Yosemite downloaded and installed on Mac Mini yesterday evening.

Working fine.

Will explore some of the new features after I have iOS 8.1 on my iThings in the next day-or-two.

My Mac Air has taken the download well without any problems that I can find at the moment, no slow down thankfully. One thing I like is the single button [green] option to maximise pages in Chrome rather than the 2 button stupidity before.

No issues with my Macbook (2008) and I quite like the unified look with iOS, smart move.

It's also nice to be able to sync all Apple devices again as well, the release should really have coincided with iOS 8 for better integration.

I may have to swap out my old Mac mini for something able to take Yosemite, but it still works very well as a file server and media centre.

Do you guys use photoshop, lightroom and the rest of CC. If so are there any problems. Also do you use grphics tablets? I heard there some problem with the tablets.

I use Lightroom 5 on my Mac Air 13" and updated to Yosemite a couple of days ago. Been using LR5 today and yesterday and I have the feeling that it might actually be running a little quicker. The screen does not get jerky, or less so, once the Lens Adjustments have been made. Seems a positive update certainly from LR5 angle.

Yosemite has definitely had a positive effect in Lightroom 5. I thought it had, but wasn't 100% sure until I did some testing this afternoon. It is always recommended that Lens Corrections be done last [or near to] because they take up a lot of memory and adjustments made afterwards become slower and the screen gets 'jumpy'. I tested a number of files today and this no longer needs to be the case. Working with a 4Gb Mac Air [so hardly cutting edge & loaded with memory] I used a number of 20mb shots, used Lens Corrections first and everything afterwards ran as smooth as silk; no slow-down or jerky screen.I'm well pleased.

AirPlay from iPhone 5 and iPad Mini and Mac Mini ---> Marantz M-CR603 (Marantz is ethernet cabled to Apple Extreme base station).

'Proper techies' who are worthy of the title will have backed up everything before an OS upgrade and reverted back as soon as a serious problem emerged, pending a fix.

I have a complete, bootable, backup of my system - under Mavericks - from just before I upgraded. That's additional to my usual external backup drive.

I think ill wait a few months as im hearing there are some gliches that i cant afford to happen on my machine.
