Yamaha vs Sony

Just looking for a bit of advice. Any idea which of these amps is the best?

Yamaha RXA830

Firstly, I haven't heard either receiver....but I would expect the Yamaha to be the better performer of the 2 due to materials used and that it initially retailed for a few hundred £££ more than the Sony. The Sony has more in built features.

Which speakers have you got? Between the two, it has to be the Yamaha. It belongs to the superior Aventage range.
