yamaha rxv 2600 will my blu ray player decode hd sound through this ?

as per the title will my sony bdps 360 blu ray player decode HD sound through this amp?

Connect only the HDMI cable, set your sony 360 to output LPCM and you will get HD sound.

ok so for deffinate you can get full DTS HD and Dolby HD sound through HDMI from my 360 blu ray player??

Will it also pass the video signal through as normal 1080p?

I can get this amp for £299 is that a good deal?

The Sony 360 will decode and pass DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD as LPCM to the amp but i don't think the 2600 will pass 1080p, 1080i only, the list price was about £900 so £299 is a good price.

Just to let you know i got the amp today the HD sound through lpcm is awsome and if you force 1080p through my sony dvd player is works it displayes 1080p/24fps i'm well chuffed
