Yamaha Processors.

I stil own and use the DSP 800 dolby digital processor and have wondered why Yamaha have never gone for introducing an Hd version?

Ive still got one of them in the attic

Id guess its because processors by themselves cost more to make due to them selling less of them. As you can buy normal recievers that will do the exact same job (They must have pre outs of course), then theres no need for stand alone processors at the cheap end of the scale
