Denon DVD-1940 was our Best DVD Player £100-£300 in 2007. It's the one I'd go for.

Thank you for your reply, Andy. I have just been scared off by numerous posts about this player having issues with motion juddering, when connected to samsung TVs. The TV i will connect the player to is a Samsung LE40M87 would you suspect any issues? Also I was attracted by the £240 price drop on the yamaha player.
