Yamaha Dsp-ax763 with Jamo A102HCS5.

Hi all,

Just purchased both of these for a second room set up (second hand).

I noticed that in the Jamo user guide it says the fronts, surrounds and centre are 6 ohms.In the amplifier user guide, it states when all the speakers etc are connected, before running auto set up to alter amp settings to show 6 ohms.

This is shown exactly how it should be done and looks very straight forward. As a bit of a thicky why is this important and would you bother.

Bit late now as I have already purchased them but do you think they will work well together? (movie and gaming use).

Anybody???

Just taken delivery of the final piece of the second room jig saw, ie sub cable. Want to set it all up this weekend. Does anyone have any answer to the 6 ohms question, if not I suppose I'll do as the manual says, just wondered why it was important.

No idea why - I just plugged my speakers into by amplifier and ran auto set up.
