Yamaha confirms firmware fix for 2009 AV receivers

We've reported in our News section on the fact that some of Yamaha's 2009 AV receivers can't handle video via HDMI and DD5.1 via optical connections simultaneously. Today the company has confirmed details of a firmware fix for all the affected models: RX-V465, RX-V565, RX-V765 and RX-V1065.

So now thats sorted how does the Yamaha RX-V765 compare against the new Pioneer, new Denon AVR-1910, Sony 2400ES and Onkyo '607? ;-)
