I want an affordable integrated that sound open, clear and musical that can run with expensive speakers without showing it`s flaws. So, you could say I want expensive sound - cheap.

Which of the two in the heading is the better with this in regard? I listen to all sort of music, but not very loud.

Type A-S500 into the Search Forum bar. The results should point pretty conclusively to the Yamaha.
You might like to post what other kit it's to go with.

I wouldn't write the 650A off as easily as that to be honest. It is a VERY capable amp and if partnered carefully (to avoid it sounding too clinical) it can work superbly.

Some Richers have audition rooms and stock both amps, so why not organise a demo of both so that you can compare them properly?

And yes, as richardw42 suggested, it would be useful if we knew what your other kit is.
