x.v.colour on pioneer lcd

hello all

my question is how to get the x.v.colour option on my pioneer 37 lcd tv.

i have just got lg bd370 blu ray player,which said full hd 1080p with x.v.colour.checked pioneer manual and say only accept with hdmi lead.

have tried 3 different leads from cheap,middle,to expensive but still unable to get.

is problem tv or blu ray as there is nothing in lg manual about x.v.colour only on packaging and cant find in setup menu.

any one got any ideals please.

How do you know you're not getting it? Looking in the LG manual, it doesn't mention x.v colour specifically, but looks to me like you just need the HDMI Color Setting under the Display menu set to YCbCr.

i know i not getting it because the pioneer tv has av selection and i can change manually and x.v.colour is not there.have also tried colour change rgb and ycbcr still no joy

What model Pioneer is it? To be honest, I'm not sure anything even uses the x.v colour gamut at the moment anyway...

I personally dont know of anything except the PS3 that will allow it and thats only on the free 'LIFE' download so far that im aware of

Dvds, blurays, freeview etc simply dont have it (They CAN be converted, but theres absolutely nothing to gain from conversion)
