Worth The Upgrade?

Are B&W 685s that much better than my current Monitor Audio BR2 speakers?

Would that extra money spent be worth it? Is there going to be a big enough differance to warrent spending £370.

At the moment i'm using:

Cambridge Audio Azur 640a V2 , Cambridge Audio Azur 640c V2 and Monitor Audio BR2 with Soundstyle Z2 stands.

Personally now i have floorstanders, (which replaced my BR2's) I could never look back and go for standmounts again

Understand what you mean but you limit choice that way, especially with 'cheaper' speakers where money really is better spent on sound design and driver/component quality rather than expanses of mdf. There are exceptions as always but they seem to be few and far plus you could always add a sub at some stage to go full band, something that also benefited many floorstanders I've used.
