Hey I was wondering if you can give me some advice.... I have a yamaha rx-v1073 which is basically a rx-a1030, arcam bd300 and monitor audio rs6 speakers. Both TV, blu ray and Apple TV are connected to the amp via HDMI. I currently only use a 2 speaker setup and not looking to go full surround for a while. I have bi amped the speakers with the amp. I was wondering would I get a noticeable improvement in sound if I went to a dedicated stereo setup? Like getting a arcam a19? Would that sound much better single wired than my bi amped yamaha? If I did go down this route what would be the best way to link everything else up?

IMO. You will get a noticeable improvement for 2 channel.

If I understand correctly, you have an AV amp that you only use in 2 channel and you want to replace it with a 2 channel amp.

If I'm right (and I might not be), you may be able to wire it as follows:

- Keep the Yamaha.

- Connect the A19 -> Zone Out (for Zone 2) of the Yamaha

- Connect the Zone 1 Audio Out of the BDP300 -> A19

- Connect speakers to A19

For CD replay, only use A19 + BDP300

For every thing else, route through the Yamaha to the A19.
