Word verification????

i just tried to edit a post in the oppo thread and i couldn't, it said "access denied" after i hit the save button..

I've removed the link from my signature and...

I don't have (and never have had) any links in my sig...

EDIT - And i'm still getting the bloody annoying word verification on every post.

It won't do it forever, mine stopped after about 4 posts.

Well last night and about the first 4 posts (and edits) on here today all had the verification

However (whispers)........its not popped up now for around 3 posts!

Ze machine, she is learning fast, no?

No plans whatsoever, not even in the shed: experience elsewhere suggests far, far too open to abuse, and much too demanding of time involved in resolving disputes, claim and counterclaim, etc. Not gonna happen.

Got the word verification thing when using chrome browser but not when using firefox.

Until they're used for spam, abuse, advertising, lead to disputes to do with transactions...

Fair enough but I'm still not sure I get it. I wouldnt come bleating to you about the contents of my email inbox.

But you might complain to your ISP or email provider if it was constantly filled with spam, just as many would if a private messaging service provided by a website was similarly abused. And there are some miserable bleaters out there...
