Wonderful day at Brooklands Museum

My brother blagged some free tickets for the Concord experience. The highlight was a full-size race car all made from Lego

When I was with the Honourable Artillery Company in London in the late 70s, we had a Chief Air Training Steward who occasionally had spare places for seats in a 'grounded' Concord and others used for training Air Hostesses. 'Twas truly awful to be so pampered!

You're right. The wheels and tyres are real. But to build a full size McLaren must have taken them months, if not years.

Ah, a Senna McLaren - seen plenty of those at Donington (when it had a museum).

Cosford & Duxford are well worth visits.

Great collection of well-known race cars. But the Lego McLaren is insanely good.
