Wireless tv

Dear all,

I am about to but a new system but we will keep our old VCR (we have a whole load of old vids). Thinking of using a cheap wireless tv sender (philips SLV3220 £35) so that we can store this in a nearby cupboard with th vhs boxes - thinking is that quality is lowish anyway and we want to keep the systems footprint to a minimum.

Any thoughts?

Should be fine,but one thing to take into consideration with video senders is that a lot of them use a 2.4GHZ signal to transmit, which also happens to be the same frequency as most wireless broadband routers,so if you have wireless b/b can cause problems.

You can buy video senders that use a 5.8GHZ signal to get around this problem such as this
