Been getting a few dropouts (wireless streaming from PC to Airport Express) and after swapping wires here and there I have come to the conclusion that my wireless keyboard is to blame. Back to wired for me. Has anyone else experienced this?

Its a Keysonic ACK540RF.

Tried the router channel swapping......still problems.

Just had a quick look and immediately saw "wireless 2.4GHz RF", which I'm pretty sure is the problem, yup. Wired or bluetooth, another RF one with different frequency band, or move to 'N' wireless, methinks.

I have a dlink N router and dlink N pc card but if I set the router to anything other than G only, the AE wont connect wirelessly. There is an option for the router to be set to N, G and B auto detect but like I said , if I set it to this the AE wont work wirelessly. Maybe a discrepancy in the implemented N ""standard""

Possibly, can't say, as am on a 'g' router, and my iPod Touch remote would turn it into a 'g' network anyway

Might be worth setting to 'n' and setting up the AE wired, before unplugging it? Though I'm loathe to recommend changing a wireless setup once it's working...
