will sky + record facility still remain

Due to the good old credit crunch and also the fact that my children are addicted to the Disney channel, I'm reducing my sky package from the £55 all singing and dancing HD option to the £16 basic package.

Has anybody got the basic package and if so, are you still able to use the sky plus facillity to record and playback

Yes, i have and yes you can. Sky only take that functionality away if you don't have a subscription at all (so if you just use it as a freeview box)
