will cyrus match my cm1s

hi just wondered if cyrus equipment will match my bw cm1 speakers. was thinking of the 8 xpd qx with matching cd transport thanks guys

I had some CM5's with the Cyrus 8vs2 and it sounded brilliant so I'm sure the CM1's would work well with the 8XP et al...

I have them as surrounds, plus CM8 fronts, with Cyrus pre/Xpower and transport - works a treat.

I think the forward/detailed nature of the Cyrus amps along with the smooth and, at times, laid back sound of the CM range of speakers goes very well together.

I still think you'll do better adding an 8200CDQ to your system to replace the 8000CD and 8000Q.... 🙂

thanks for all the replies guys . david what would the 8200cdq give me in terms of sound quality ? i was looking down the cyrus route due to the size of the boxes

i am still thinking of getting the cdq and matching 8200 power amp but not sure what i would lose in terms of sq going from monos to a single power amp though this would still cut down my box count and id have a smart two box system (depending on whether id get a tuner ) only thing is now ive got my cm1s the sytem is sounding lush😛
