Widen My Centre Channel

I have an AVR 2808 (Denon) and have it on Music Pro Logic II so I can slightly widen my centre Channel. Does anyone know how or if I can widen the centre channel in 5.1 DD/ DTS mode ? I tend to think the centre channel is too directional and want to feed a little of it into my L+R ....?

If it's standard def DD/DTS 5.1, you can run PLIIx processsing on top of the standard decoding - see manual p37.

But you can't do this with the HD versions of DD and DTS.
