Do you by any chance, live in Somerset? Here in the Taunton Deane area of Somerset, we are never short of flies and spiders, during the summer.
Ha, ha, no I live in an old farmhouse in Ceredigion, West Wales in the countryside.
It's situated in a beautiful deep valley with its own track about half a mile long. It's surrounded by 200 acres of grass land and trees and we keep and breed Welsh Cobb's here, so again, no shortage of flies.
But, I have noticed a return of loads of butterflies this year. And our Swallows came back to nest in one of the outbuildings this year. There were about six of them swooping around the yard in the Spring and I think they raised two clutches of chicks.

I was at Glastonbury last Saturday, I was at top of the Tor hill, staring at the ruined Abbey and taking photos, the pagan worshippers were walking bare feet.

Saw this beautiful young barefooted woman pass me by, had some adventurous thoughts, then I felt a nasty bite on my arm, OMG, a big black spider crawled up my arm and bit me, I brushed it off to the ground and it sort of vanished.
Cider, Spiders and Witches kind of summarizes Somerset 🙂

I didn't know we had biting spiders in Britain.
That might have been a message from the heavens for your sinful thoughts, ha ha

We have a few more butterflies and other pollinating insects this year. Unfortunately, what hasn't returned, is the bats we used to see on a warm summer evening. We live on the edge of a small village and, used to see the bats fly overhead, whilst we sat outside.

Yes, we have bats living in our loft. I think they're still there.
It's a shame though when you see different animals disappearing.

It's good we can encourage people to share the love.

Even if my system was setup on a shoe string, it's still my personal signature.

How I see it, putting your wares up for display, is some kind of artistic expression. I get as much satisfaction, seeing what other people have, it is their unique signature.

You think about the reasons or a logical basis why they decided to go with the pairing of these particular speakers with this particular amp and you ask yourself, was that a good choice or how does this combination work for him?

Yes some people like to show off but nothing wrong with that. I see this as an opportunity to tell your story.....perhaps my brain is a little warped ha ha ha! 😏
Yeah, I'd like to know what stuff other people are using out of genuine interest. I'm not interested in who's gear is the most expensive and who's is the cheapest, that's a non-issue for me.
I'm interested to know what people are using on their front ends and especially what amplifiers and speakers they use, and what their thoughts are on their audio systems, where any dissatisfaction arises and why, what people are really satisfied with and why.
Since this is "What Hi-Fi", then yeah.....what Hi-Fi are we all using.? What do we like and not like, and why.
I think it could lead to some really interesting material and we could, if we wanted to, show more interest in each others gear and thoughts.

My thoughts exactly.
Everyone sitting around in a circle like alcoholic anonymous. Sharing their stories and experiences.

My little Arcams shine so brightly, my only true love, that is until I cast my eyes on Naim Nait, that Jezebel.
