Please could I add something to this. I have been a migraine sufferer for over 40 years and was very grateful for the move to non-CRT technologies as I am now hyper sensitive to CRT screens. I can watch a CRT screen for 30 seconds and a migraine can begin.
Just thought I'd add in case there are any migraine sufferers who (not as old as I) may have no experience of CRT monitors. I would add that every migraine sufferers have their own triggers and it could be that you don't get any ill effects. I'd also add that negative effects from a migraine trigger can be cumulative so you could use a CRT for a while without any ill effects and then start getting a bout of migraines.
Just thought it might be useful info if you were thinking of getting one.
