i was happy that you new magazine is out but less than impressed to see a scratch card inside, "To claim your prize please call the following number calls at no more than 1.50 a minute and will last no longer than 6 minutes". It wreaks of the word scam! so I would like to know why whf are allowing this kind of rubbish into the magazine?.

Or indeed claim your prize (non monetary) which could be anyone of the following holiday, vouchers etc, we have been bitten once by these scams very naiveof us to have done so of course but I am not in the least bit impressed. If the scratchcard was not intended to be in the magazine, then apologies.

You are not alone, I got them too... They went straight in the recycling bin.

I wonder if there is a man at the other end putting the scratch cards in by hand.

I wonder how many WHFS&V mags are sold.

As with any advertising, the editorial staff of the magazine have no prior knowledge of, nor control over, what adverts are printed in/inserted into the magazine.

But I will raise your concerns with the Brand Director and Brand Manager, unfortunately neither of whom are in the office today.

Please, advertising revenues pay for some of the costs of the magazine, fact. Pay staff, etc and more importantly someone has to operate the machines that load them into the mags, think of the jobs guys, have a heart, think of this guys family eagerly waiting the return of daddy, who has slaved away at minimum wage no doubt just to give his kids all the scratchies they can eat.

Nice to hear some people recycle them, sleep well friend at night knowing you doing your little bit for the planet whilst putting other people into work. See Whathifi not only educates the populous but creates many spin offs, so please buy your mag regularly, and sleep well.

great mag tho.

and if you buy in a shop rather than subscribe, all the inserted adverts nicely fall out and remain in the rack when you pick it up, not only creating all the jobs listed above, but removing all the annoyance for you!
