Why does the IPhone have such a weak battery?

I have two phones, a Xiaomi redmi 7 and an iPhone 11 Pro that I use everywhere. The thing is that at the moment the battery status of the iPhone is 88%, but at the same time it cuts down very quickly, especially compared to Xiaomi which has a bigger diagonal and screen resolution of 1920x1080 but with active use, it can hold 3 days. Couldn't a $750 phone have a higher capacity battery?

You can do things for longer battery life...turning off wifi/data when not in use, turning off 'refresh background apps'...the apple forum will have many more tips for preserving battery life too....the iphone is a powerful phone and unfortunately that power drains the battery rather rapidly across all iphone models.

Couldn't a $750 phone have a higher capacity battery?

Nokia 3.4, currently selling for £50, gives me 3 days from a charge.
If it's not as 'powerful' as an i-phone, I wouldn't know....but I'm glad it isn't.
