Wonder if anyone could help.

On my Denon 2309 my channel levels keep changing. When I auto-setup the results can vary massively, even with the room setup the same. I have had results of -2.5db for my PV1 all the way upto +6.5db, this leads to massive sound changes. My M1s also change frequently when doing auto setup.

When I set it up manually I correct these settings. These settings stay the same whilst I watch films via DVD or Sky however they then randomely change back to the auto setup settings.

Can anyone help me out on this. Its vexxing me.

Do you have a Denon receiver. I spoke with sevenoaks you said it could be do with the Audessey Multi EQ. I have turned that off however the settings still change. I have automatically set it up four or five times today in the same position and each time the settings are compleately different

Sounds like it's not the best auto setup, or perhaps down to a dodgy mic. You can always get a sound pressure meter relatively cheap which will get them spot on for your listening position or just go by ear.
