The more I think about the Tannoys, despite being very good, I just feel couldn't live with them on a permanent basis. Lack the overall sonic class of the PMCs IMO.

I have noticed you still keep swapping or looking to swap parts of your system around pp.naim to electro.Now your speakers.Try and get a demo of an exposure 2010 s2 dac. I think it sounds awesome with the pulse and Pmc's if you had one of these I think it would cure your need to system swap. It seems to have fallen below the radar on most forums, but if you read the reviews that are around they are all positive. It is not over anilitical. Just so damn musical.

Nah matey. I've had the Naim for around 3 years and purchased the Electro last Nov. The only reason for looking at the Naim change is because the aesthetics and not the sound. The PMCs this is the second year. I genuinely love my system 'as is'. But as a keen hi-fier, I enjoy listening to other bits of kit, although that has reduced over the last 18 months or so.
