why cant i add an avatar pic

been trying too upload a pic.but doesnt seem to work, is there a particular file type or size u must use, been tryin to upload jpegs

Sorry but it's a known problem and an ongoing source of frustration to us. Our digital media team is on the case, but the wheels are grinding rather slowly at the moment

Moving this to 'about the new site' section, as the digital media people tend to monitor that one more closely
