They aren't. It's an anti spam feature that your first few posts are going to require mod approval because somehow you're on an antispam list. Approved it as soon as I saw it but I'd ask you to be patient as I don't have a way to bypass it and it and even post edits will require one of us to approve it. After a set number of posts that I'm not sure the number of it will no longer hit on your account and you'll be able to post normally. Also I'm the only US based mod and it's the middle of the night for the rest of the guys who are in the UK.
