Which TV?

I am thinking of purchasing a new Full HD TV in the next few weeks and have read many reviews and have narrowed it down to two TV's,

Pioneer PDP-LX5090 50" Plasma

Sony KDL-52Z4500 52" LCD

I will be using the TV mostly for SKY HD and Blu-ray's etc, but will have a Home Theatre PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 hooked up to it via a AV Reciever.

Are LCD's better for gaming and computer work, or are Plasma's just as good?

So, which TV would be best?

If it were my money I would go for the Pioneer. I have a simular set of equipment to you and I use a Plasma and IMHO a Plasma is better for gaming due to lower response times and virtually no input lag.

between those two, I'd take the Pioneer. But be wary of such a large screen - it will make SD images look really weak, especially if you plan on sitting less than 4.5m from the screen. You also may want to take a look at "Eats, shoots and leaves" by Lynne Truss.
