Which tv to buy

I'm thinking about getting a new lcd tv but aren't quite sure of which would be the best for me. I currently have a 3 year old toshiba WLT66 ' 42 inch but its got the dreaded dark line running vertically down the very centre of the screen which apparently was a common fault on those tv's. It started after the warranty ran out. So recently i've been looking at the 40 inch sony W5500, 42 inch LG LH5000 or should i wait and see in the next few months when the new tv models start coming out. What do you think guys ?

If you can just hold on for the sets of 2010 or if your like me and really need a new TV in the mean time, go for a bargain set. I just got the LG 47LF7700 for £639.99.
