Which optical splitter?

Can anyone recommend an automatic optical splitter?. I’d like to connect my Sony 40 W4500 and a PS3 to my DAV-DZ260 home cinema for surround sound. I mention an automatic because with my arthritis I don’t fancy going behind the TV to flick a switch.

Thor make a hdmi switch that can also switch optical and apparently as it's discontinued it has been spotted on sale at Currys etc. for less than a tenner. It was over £100 RRP. I don't know of any dedicated auto optical switch though.

these are from maplins and i think i read somewhere that because its light , you dont lose any quality when running alongside other electric power cables

The first one is a manual switch, which the OP doesn't want and I don't think the second one would work as one of his sources is a TV and therefore it would always be on. Those toslink splitters only work if one source is on at a time.

Ah I see, looks like I'll have to decide which takes preference and stick with that. Thanks for the replies, still finding my way with A.V.
