Which one ?

Hello everyone, I’m looking to get myself a CD/radio player, I’m looking at either the Ruark R3S connected music system or the Sonoro Prestige CD/DAB+/WiFi and Bluetooth. I’m a bit of a technophobe so I’m keen on simple to use . Is there much of a sound difference between the two ? Mainly using for cd’s and listening to music on the radio.

Don't really know them but Ruark is a pretty good brand. Never heard of Sonoro. Is there any store which has both, so you can have a look - feel - listen?

Unfortunately not , I’m leaning towards the Ruark because of the reviews I’ve seen online

Had a look - Sonoro looks nice but couldn't find any reviews. Can't go wrong with Ruark I think.

This is merely food for thought, there is also the Ruark 610 All in One which can be purchased with Ruark Sabre R speakers, this will cost you more than twice the price than the lesser Ruark but might be worth the investment.

I've lamented in the past about our customers only wanting Ruark or Sonos now. Long gone are the days when we sold hifi separates. But for small spaces the Ruark R3 are great little machines. We sell the 610 and the little CD player that goes with it, very neat.

No I was just saying we've gone from selling hi-fi separates to selling Ruark and Sonos I know the OP was about sonoro. I've seen sonoro about but never heard any. I have of course heard Ruark as we sell them.
