I'll shortly be taking delivery of my new Panasonic 42 PZ85.

Blue Ray will be something I'll go for in a year or so. In the meantime I'm looking to change my Pioneer DVD575A for an upscaler - either the Denon 1740 or the Panasonic DVS53.

Would I be better off using my existing component leads or buying an HDMI lead. I've seen a couple :

1. http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=CAMB-BUDGET-HDMI-2M

Cambridge Audio form Richer Sounds for 29.95 less a 10.00 voucher reduction. This was a What Hi Fi 5 star best buy.

or this one

2. http://www.qed-uk.com/electricals/product/profigold/pgv1001.html?

This is 20.00 including postage and received 3 stars but excellent comments from What Hi Fi.

Anyone got any views on ant of this. (The guy in Richer Sounds said I'd probably do as well to keep the 575a - honest type!).

Cheers!

Thanks very much, Andy.

Do you have any thoughts on the 2 upscalers I mentioned or should I just stick with my Pioneer pro tem as suggested by the guy in Richer Sounds?

Thanks again.
