Which HDD drive to record on my TV?

Hi

I have been trying to record TV from my Samsung UE46D6530 to my WD TV Media hub but apparently because it is 1TB the TV will not recognise it (500mb max apparently).

My question is this, does anyone know a good 500mb alternative?

But whatever, Tescos are doing a 500GB Hitachi drive for 40 quid.
