Which CD player ?

At the moment I have a Marantz CD6002 which is a very good player but I want something better.

I'm looking at the NAD C545BEE or Roksan K2 player. The Roksan costs twice as much but will it be so much better than the NAD ? Has anyone experience with the Roksan K2 player ?

Save a bit longer and get a Rega Apollo.

Yes, the Apollo is a terrific player. Can't comment on the Roksan, but it's in a different class to the NAD.

I don't really like the look of the Apollo and I have no room for it. It's too high when the lid is open.

Anyone else here any experience with the Roksan K2 player ?

Try the Naim cd5i too. A touch more expensive than the Roksan, but it"s a terrific player.

What about a NAD C565BEE? Mine is still running in but so far, so fantastic. Has some useful features too - USB port, digital input, selectable upsampling etc.
