[um]I have a Rotel RA-1520 integrated amplifier and as speakers I have B&W CM9.

I think bi-wiring would most propably provide a better quality sound.

Are there any brand and qualifications for cable that you recommend?

Thanks in advance..

FWIW, I've just switched to Chord Carnival SilverScreen Biwire. Very, very happy.

Mid-range bass was lacking at first, but after c. 80 hours all is present and correct.

Huge difference compared to my old cable - QED Original Biwire.

(Bought online from Future Shop, which'll let you return/swap if you're not happy.)

A Good bi-wire like the Chord Oddyssey 4 should be minimum for your set-up IMO

However I'm surprised that the Rotel drives the CM9's to their fullest as they're not the easiest of speakers to drive and the Rotel isnt the most powerful amp.

Have you considered looking to add a Rotel power amp so that you can bi-amp your speakers?

IMO it'll make huge improvements!

I have also just opted for the Chord Carnival bi-wire cables AND I bought them from Futureshop, who offer terrific service and great prices. Not sure if the sound improved after a few hours - that might just have been my other equipment warming up!
