which av amp

hi chaps,after a new av amps with all the bells and whistles on,budget £700-800 quite drawn to pioneer vsx lx51 don`t seem to be able to find a lot of reviews on it,what else should i be looking at for the budget

...As a few people have already mentioned on other threads Richer Sounds are (were?) selling the excellent Onkyo 875 for £600 ...I (and many others) on this forum paid £1000 for it less than a year ago!

Without doubt the Yamaha 863 - I haven't heard it, but I've heard some of the amps WHF compare it to and say it's better than, so I think it must be something pretty special.
