Which amp

Hello all my amp has broken and need to get a new one( kids split orange juice on it 2 years ago :wall:

Speakers are monitor audio rx6 and would need to hdmi out puts for tv and projector. My budget is £500-£650

help please.

i am planing making a trip to edinbrugh at the weekend as I don't have any hifi shop up here.

richer sound are doing sony 1040 and onkyo 828. Any other suggestions

Well, I was looking at getting a 1040, as the Sony Amps that i've had in the past gelled well with my Tannoys. But in the end, I went for an ex-demo Sony STR-DA5400ES, which I paid £460 for and i'm glad I did. It's just fantastic. It was the Daddy of the av amps a few year ago. If you're willing to go down the second hand route, then maybe consider it. It's got the dual HDMI Output, does 3D and sounds brilliant. Stomped all over the Sony 1200ES that it replaced.
