Which amp schould I get?

Hi,

Iam texting from Poland.

Sorry if my english is hard to understund.

I got Dali Zensor 7 loudspeakers. Iam thinking to replace them for Ikon 6/7 mk 2 in the future. But as a first iam looking for stereo amp.

I'd like to ask, what u guys recomend if i listen : Queen, Louis Armstrong, Dire Straits, also i listen much of electronic music like : Guy J, GusGus, Nick Warren. Generes like :downtempo, ambient, deep house, etc.

I can spend about 1200 eur for amp and dac as well

What choice to take?:

New : marantz pm 8005, 7005?

New: Nad 356. 375 bee ?

2nd hand Hegel h 80 ?

or something else?

I can comment on the 375bee. I have the 165 preamp with the 275 so its almost exactly the same sound. The nad makes some awesome movies earthquakes but for music its only good.

Thats my understanding, I know you wont see often the term bright with nad but I do share this:

Sub bass : too much

Bass : not enough

mids : lack details

high : a bit bright

I would look for an hybrid with tube preamp stage. Rogue Sphinx or Croft. Among your choices hegel just by reputation in the french press and here in canada.
