i presume so ? i also presume they have yours ? so ...

many forumites , myself included , have recently complained of issues affecting this years panasonic plasma range , some of the issues...

floating blacks , dont see them on my tv , but many say they do ..

colour banding , ive seen some minor banding myself , but nothing to worry me , others complain of severe banding though..

50hz motion issues , hmmm , this is the problem that is affecting my tv the most , on panning shots mostly , judder , blurring , its quite distracting , and did not happen on last years panas ..

is it too much to ask , that whfi send panasonic an email , highlighting these issues that their readers / forum members have found on these relatively expensive tvs ? perhaps ask them if they are aware of these issues ? if there is anything that they can do about them ? if there is any plans for firmware updates that may fix any of these issues ?

im sure many forumites/readers of the mag would appreciate this , i certainly would , can you do us this favour whfi ?? thanks in advance [Y]

I am sure Panasonic, in common with other companies, monitor these and other Forums. But I will send them a mail on Monday drawing their attention to your post.

We exist only to serve, even when we can't keep up with your ludicrous rollercoaster relationship with the brand, Max...

I tell you what Max. Its been a laugh watching you harp on about this awesome tv, but in the end you slag it off to hell

Seems to me theres a quailty control issue with Panasonic, as theres so many various problems but only on random tvs

(That said, if Panasonic make their tvs to exacting specs, theres every chance its other people equipment thats not helping. Ie ~ not using the correct impedance cables etc)

I have Sony, and we all know about backlight issue with them (Also random). But apart from that, they seem pretty rock solid (And I was one of the lucky ones with backlightling ~ an issue they now appear to have sorted to a degree)

a bit unfair perhaps ?? they make tvs that deliver the best picture quality imo , but they are no different to any other company in that if they are selling tvs with problems , they should be highlighted .. no ??

anyway thanks for agreeing to send the email andrew

Not in the slightest. We had to endure that ridiculous thread where you threw around all sorts of accusations and nonsense about anti-Panasonic bias, then the 'new Kuro' thread, then the 'I'm out of here oh no I'm back' routine, and now this.

Maybe you should email Panasonic...

yea your right andrew , but bar the accusations thread , the rest are all a bit of harmless fun , which you often partake in , when your in the mood of course , when your not they are nonsense threads , ludicrous , whatever ..

dont bother sending an email on my behalf , i shouldnt have asked , and would you kindly delete my panasonic review thread please , i wont start anymore threads in the tv section , thank you ...

maxflinn isnt the only person who would like feedback from panasonic, myself and others are potential customers who would like to know before buying, £2000 is a lot of money to gamble on a TV (maybe working ok).. dont you think?..

End users dont seem to be getting any answers from panasonic, so we turn to you guys for a bit of help..

And we are happy to help - as mentioned on another thread (I lose track....) to Max, we put several of these questions to Panasonic at IFA and await a response (not every brand has their engineers on hand at these events), which we'll post as soon as we get one. These things take time - see also Sony Blu-ray player sound issues etc; Philips Freeview HD firmware etc. We'll get there in the end!
