WHF Team: Yamaha RX-V3900 or Pioneer SC-LX81 ?

The Pioneer SC-LX81 and the Yamaha RX-V3900 have now both received 5-star reviews, having spent time with both, which would you personally say is the better receiver for overall sound quality ?

The Pioneer is obviously a great amp (scooped top prize in the WHF Awards), but I've read of quite a few problems people have been having with set-up/HDMI problems. ÿIt might just be a storm in a tea-cup, but you might want to check out the forums.

Of course, as a very satisfied 3800 owner, I'm biased.............ÿ

I have the RXV 3900 and i'm very happy with it.
