WHF Team - Which is the best buy home cinema receiver in £500 - £1000 range??

I've just noticed that there's no 'best buy' in £500 - £1000 home cinema amplifiers. Is it an oversight?

The established contenders in that price band have left the building - we're waiting to test the replacements...

Thanks Andrew. I expected the likes of Yamaha RX-V1900 (or the replacement, the 2065) & Denon 2310 & a group test would be very interesting.

Certainly not an oversight, and you may find a few other 'gaps' in our Best Buy categories right now.

It's that time of year with all the new models battling for our Awards, unveiled in October, so until we've tested them all (and with the old models being deleted) you might have to bear with us. We'll update all our Best Buys as soon as the Awards 2009 issue goes on sale.
