I'm thinking of buying the Panasonic DMP-BDT110 but little confused by the upscaling comments in the review. I watch a lot of DVDs and wouldn't want a blu ray player that poorly upscaled my DVDs.

Is it possible to set this player so that your own TV does the upscaling via HDMI cable, or would I have to have both an HDMI cable and a scart lead connected to the player and watch blu rays on the HDMI and DVDs over the SCART (in order to ensure TV upscales the DVDs)?

You'll only need the HDMI cable: the player (like all Blu-ray players) can be set to output in native resolution - so Blu-rays will be output at 1080p with no scaling required and DVDs will be output at their standard resolution and upscaled by your TV.
