Normally for iPhone launch there is lot aof ttention and live coverage is done by WHF, wondering why there is complete silence on Galaxy S3 launch while the event too is held in London.

Samsungs marketing is getting better, so mayby one day. Samsung doesnt earn page clicks like Apple do, so there isn't the same money in it for journalists.

Except the WHF team is there, and will be reporting live - it's just that the event doesn't kick off for an hour!

I only know this because the team has been mentioning it on the @whathifi Twitter feed for the past few days 🙂

Edit: And it is mentioned there will be live coverage of the event in this Samsung S3 preview story from yesterday:

http://www.whathifi.com/news/update-samsung-galaxy-s-iii-to-come-in-blue-or-white-and-with-48in-screen

In short, far from "complete silence" as the OP suggests... *sigh*

Come, come Clare it's only the top story on the front page of the website, you can't expect people to find these things when they're so well hidden.

Get someone to distract Samsung while u install and run Antutu benchmark on it.

You will have a worldwide exclusive on your hands then 😛

Well I know what Joe Cox our news ed and I were doing all last night. Covering the live launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III from Earl's Court: clickety. We also covered it on our Facebook and Twitter feeds.
