Edit - update: No warranty, no idea where it came from, no idea about firmware updates, no receipt - so, I'm staying clear of this one. This seller sounds too dodgy for me.

given that you see no improvement over your pana , even though its supposedly , allegedly , inferior to the pioneer , do you really want to spend more money , on a denon that may or may not be better ??

Its frickin awesome for £500
its only a transport, so make sure you have a decent av processor that has hdmi in.
it does take an age to load - but really, c'mon its seconds, not days. need some perspective.

cheers for the advice guys. after taking delivery of the lx52 which i got for £250. i cant see much difference with PQ over my old bd30. however the sound is better, a lot more power and cohesiveness between the fronts and rears, and it almost seems like a different sub! much clearer and punchier. i realise that the 2500bt may be better, and i may take a demo. will see how i get on in the coming weeks. thanks again guys
