Where can I find someone with a bk monolith sub to demo?

Fixed on the mono but want to see if in the flesh before buying one. Which site would I find an owner of one (in the Nottingham area) as I don't know if any sites have section in that regard. I don't wanna buy it then find out I don't like it.

BK lets you demo the sub for upto 35 days at home as far as I'm aware. Check with them (they're closed until 4th August).

But return shipping at about £30-40 if I didn't want it is a bit of a high price for a demo I think

Well, it is about 43kg. Personally, I won't mind paying return postage as I'm more likely to keep it than return.

i think i'd just end up buying it blind and keeping it anyway..would you say its a good sub for a living room sized 14ft by 13ft or i should i get the dali ikon sub mk2? im leaning towards the dali because of the look of it and the design with its own feet and plinth

If you prefer Dali's looks, demo it (should be easy to demo as compared to BK). If you like it, buy it. If you don't, get the BK on home demo.

Yes, Velodyne are subwoofer specialists who have somehow managed to achieve big bass in compact units. And they're very successful.

the only problem i can think of getting the dali is how much LFE content will i be missing by going down to the 26hz on a dali compared to the 15hz on the monolith?

Took the leap and bought the ikon sub mk2 for £399 including free post and packaging! Combined about £100 cheaper than he monolith and I got the sub I wanted. Can't wait till it come next week I hope 😉
