Anyone know? I heard the boss of Arcam saying it might be a while as they were still waiting for standards version 2 to be agreed upon. But CA might be sooner to the party I'd hope as they don't build in house like Arcam do they?

Hello Dazmb,

Quite a strange question, don't you think? Did you mean " When can we expect to see Blu-ray players from Cambridge . . etc?"

The difference between your question and mine is quite astonishingly hallucinating.

The answer to my question has been explained in the development of your question (see your text). The answer to your question can only caome from you and your friends, the "we" you mention. Why not ask them?

Question of semantics, old chap.

Kind wishes, Rheingold.

Sorreltiger:He's either on a ride with some Valkyries or he's in an idyll with Siegfried.

Maybe he was distracted halfway through the post because the Gotterdammerung and he had to go and answer it. Or he got peckish and went off for something to Nibelung.

That's absolutly class Andrew! LOL!

Kind wishes, Rheingold.

Which is precisely what I did. In this example the forum members are my friends, from which I hoped to receive an answer.

Question of common sense, old chap.

Nothing imminent from either company, i'm afraid - though Cambridge Audio should be announcing some new kit next month.

Sorry to go off topic, but do you know if there will be an news on the 740R?

Well, generally it's a single malt, but only one! Glass size - about 20ml. I recommend anything from Islay because it helps the fingers to hit the right keys when typing. It doesn't really help the thinking process, but my comment did manage to draw a fair number of comments from other parties.

If you ever come to this part of the world, Andrew, I'll provide you with a glass of something really interesting . . . to help you on your way!

Slainthe.
