At last something interesting to me! Should enough money come my way, I will certainly want to try Yamaha's new YH-C3000 headphones. Should provide a nice upgrade from my Focal Elegias, as long as they suit me, at a more affordable price than Focal Stellias.

They do open back versions of those as well YH-4000. Yamaha's 2025 YH-C3000 headphones look really nice. 🙂
It seems like a good time to upgrade your headphones, I'm waiting for my new Hifiman's He1000V2 Stealth arrive, excited about those.

I need closed-back to keep music to myself, prefer the deeper bass and, todays good quality closed headphones, are much more ‘open’ sounding than they used to be.

Huff changes his mind like the Scottish weather...and that is daily...maybe even twice
Yep Huffism but love his laid back style, not something I do these days not at my age but it's like smoking a joint when I listen to him, then on the opposite end of of the reviewers spectrum, we get that wonky haired fellow, who I picture with Hitler's moustache and telling us we're all worthless 😀
WHF reviewer's you don't get that interaction, just stupid things written in print 🙂

In all probability NuPrime Audio’s long-awaited IDA9 and LP10. These have just stated to land in the UK and boy was it worth the wait. The immense power of the relatively small IDA-9 is spellbinding and yet sounds just so damn musical.

We will shortly be sharing our shortlist for this year's Readers' Award as part of the 2025 What Hi-Fi? Awards. And you can vote for the winner. The shortlist will be drawn from the most popular reviews on the website this year.

So, now that we're thinking about it, what has been your favourite new product?
Pass Labs XA 60.8. Extraordinary. Bettered my MC 275 valve amps by a considerable margin. Really fantastic
