We will shortly be sharing our shortlist for this year's Readers' Award as part of the 2025 What Hi-Fi? Awards. And you can vote for the winner. The shortlist will be drawn from the most popular reviews on the website this year.

So, now that we're thinking about it, what has been your favourite new product?

In 2026, there must be cloud-based Tap to Connect Tidal Music streaming services via Tidal's mobile app on iOS and Android to connect and play on streaming amplifiers, wireless speakers, etc, through the device's in-built NFC chip or a QR code for the selected streaming services.

Currently, the connection is only possible through an external router connected to both devices, which is very inconvenient and outdated.

What’s that got to do with the price of fish? 🙂

This super little pair of speakers is surely one of the best this year?

Until you get the reimagined AE1 to test, anyway!

Or the SME 8 turntable if you want a high-end choice and fabulous British design.

My favourite would be the ATC SCM20 Actives though. I enjoyed two extended listens to these at the Cranage show, and would give them room in my house like a blink!

Hi, I am Rega Nut, so I am very happy with new Brio amp mk7, same with new MM ND family of cartridges. But PMC Prophecy speakers are stunning, Ruark family of streaming radios and speakers look and sound great...New Cyrus 40 whole family is great, awaiting big Cyrus 80 pre/power and integrated same as new Rega Solis/Mercury and new CD Apolo... New Acoustic Energy speakers 300 line is truly stunning...it was very good year for hifi and my beloved vynyl😆. And also for still affordable hifi for us normal people.😉

I would agree.
Plenty of choice offerings for the millionaires amongst us but it's the low to mid range articles that are going to shift the most.
The new Fell Audio range of amplifier and CD player interest me.
